LINCOLN COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- One teenager is dead and 2 are seriously injured after the driver of the car lost control around midnight.

The Lincoln County Sheriff says that 16-year-old Trent Huber was driving on Kelch Road a mile and a half north of Route PP when he lost control of his 2002 Ford Ranger.

Officials say that the truck hit a culvert, a telephone pole, and 2 trees. The truck overturned and the 2 passengers, Geoffry Cox, 16, and Joshua Adams, 16, were thrown from the vehicle.

Cox's was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph West. Adams was air lifted to Children's Hospital. 

The driver, Trent Huber, was pronounced dead at the scene.
