St. Louis Mo. (KMOV.com) – Police were called to a shooting in north St. Louis early Monday morning. 

The incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. Monday in the 700 block of Thrush. 

According to police, a man in his 30s was shot three times, once in the leg and twice in the back.  Police said four black males wearing dark clothing approaching the victim and 2 friends while they were sitting on the porch. The other two people were not injured.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital. He is listed in critical, but stable condition. 

This is the same block where a triple shooting occurred Sunday afternoon. Police are investigating whether the two incidents are connected. 

The investigation is ongoing.
