(KMOV) – St. Louis County Police are investigating after two people were found dead in a Wildwood park Tuesday evening.

A St. Louis County Police Department spokesperson said two unidentified bodies were located in Babler State Park around 5 p.m.

Detectives have not released the names of the victims but say that they are a father and a son. Investigators say that the father was middle-aged and the son was in his 20s.

Police didn’t call the deaths a murder-suicide but spokesman Brian Schellman said investigators are not looking for any suspects. He says both men died of at least one gunshot wound.

A couple walking in the park found the bodies and a vehicle that belonged to one of the men was discovered nearby.

The park was evacuated with the exception of a sixth grade camping trip. Rockwood school instruction officials say the kids are in no danger.

Further details into the investigation have not been released.
