DELLWOOD, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- The emotional owner of the Dellwood Market voiced his frustration Sunday morning after his store was reportedly looted during Michael Brown protests.
"I know that people are upset, but is this the justice for Mike Brown," he said.
He's owned the store for sixteen years and said he's never seen anything like this before; twice in the past two weeks the Dellwood Market, on Chambers Road, has been broken into.
"This is heartbreaking, I'm so disappointed," he added.
News 4’s Mike Colombo was at the Dellwood Market early Monday morning and counted 10 bullet holes in the door frame.
Other businesses including a Pappa John's Pizza, a McDonalds, and and an auto parts store were looted.
"Its unfortunate because you know who the individuals are, where they're coming from. I just want to make sure our businesses are protected as much as possible," said Dellwood Mayor Reggie Jones.
