(KMOV) – Washington police arrested a man and seized a large number of weapons following a domestic disturbance call on Friday.
Alan Soehlke, 34, was charged Thursday with a felony count of unlawful use of a firearm by an intoxicated person, according to court documents.
Soehlke is accused of firing a rifle while drunk inside the home during an argument.
On Friday, around 6 p.m., police arrived at the home located in the 300 block of East Fifth in response to a report of a disturbance involving a firearm.
According to authorities, officers spoke with both the suspect and his wife who said they had been having an argument.
The wife told police she had locked her children and herself in an upstairs bedroom, but then went downstairs to investigate after hearing a gunshot.
Police reportedly recovered over 30 weapons and a bullet inside the wall of the home.
During an interview held by police on Monday, Soehlke entered a “not guilty” plea.
A judge set bond at $50,000 cash-only.
