Three area jewelry stores robbed

(KMOV) – Three area jewlery stores have been robbed in the past few days leaving thousands of dollars in jewelry unaccounted for.  The thefts took place at stores in Des Peres, south St. Louis County, and a Clarkson Jewelers in Ellisville. 

A Clarkson Jewelers in Ellisville was also a victim of theft on Friday. Video shows the suspect talking to a sales representative.
 
A ring valued at $5,700 was stolen from a Zales jewelry store in Des Peres on Sunday afternoon. 
 
Ray’s Jeweler’s in south St. Louis County was robbed around 5:30 a.m. on Monday. The store reported between $5,000 to $10,000 worth of diamonds, gemstones and wedding bands stolen. 
 
Police are not saying whether they think these robberies are related.
