ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOV) – Police say a man is in custody after he led officers on a chase through the St. Louis area on Tuesday.
Police said the chase began in Bridgeton when the suspect drove away from officers after an assault.
The suspect was pursued into St. Charles, where he crashed near the intersection of Zumbehl and I-70.
Police said the suspect fled on foot and was caught a short time later and taken into custody.
