UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo (KMOV) – A suspect got away with a cash box after smashing his way into a University City Subway early Tuesday morning.
According to the restaurant manager, someone broke the front glass door of the restaurant in the 7800 block of Olive around 12:30 a.m.
Authorities said the suspect approached the counter and grabbed the store’s cash box carrying approximately $300. He then fled the scene.
Police are looking at store surveillance video in hopes of locating the man.
