Man accused of stealing more than $8,000 worth of clothes from local mall

(KMOV) -- A St. Louis man was charged with seven counts of stealing more than $500 of merchandise at the Chesterfield Mall from January 2013 to October 2013.

Authorities charged Ronald Harshaw Sr., 46, with seven counts of stealing more than $500 from various stores including 12 Polo jackets, various amounts of Polo shirts, four Polo vests, seven pairs of Lucky jeans, 20 Thomas Dean button down shirts, and five pairs of Tommy Bahama pants from Macy’s and Dillards.

During the eight month crime spree, Harshaw is accused of stealing a total of $8,403 in merchandise.

It is still unclear how authorities apprehended Harshaw.
