(KMOV) – A South Roxana man is sentenced to three years in prison for reckless homicide for a crash that killed a 51-year-old man.

Lloyd Denny, 30, plead guilty to the accident that happened two years ago. Denny had prescription drugs in his system when he rear-ended a motorcyclist in Alton. That driver later died.

Denny was given the maximum penalty under his plea agreement, in part, because days before his sentencing, he was arrested for felony drug possession. He was out on bail at that time.
