St. Louis man charged with hitting police car during pursuit

(KMOV) -- A St. Louis man was apprehended by police after fleeing from authorities in a stolen vehicle. 

An officer saw Adoalf Brimer, 19, driving a stolen vehicle on Dragonwyck Drive. As the officer attempted to stop the vehicle, Brimer accelerated in an attempt to flee.

Brimer drove toward another police vehicle and sideswiped the cruiser after swerving at the last second.

He then exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The suspect was carun down and apprehended by police.

Brimer is charged with tampering, resisting arrest, and assault on a law enforcement officer.
