Rams Insider: Observations from Rams Preseason Win Over Ravens

(FootballStL) --  The Rams win over the Baltimore Ravens will never be viewed as a classic, but the preseason does end with home team picking up the victory. The Rams managed to avoid their first winless preseason since 2002.

Overall, it was a sloppy game that was dominated by backups. There were 6 turnovers between the 2 teams. The Rams defense forced 2 fumbles, and intercepted 2 passes. Kellen Clemens started at quarterback in place of Sam Bradford, and went 13-18 for 118 yards.

Clemens missed one series because of.a bloddy nose. Austin Davis came on in relief, and went 8-13 for 50 yards and 2 TD's.

Benny Cunningham, Isaiah Pead, and Chase Reynolds shared time in the Rams backfield. Cunningham had 8 carries for 70 yards, including a 29 yard run.

Brian Quick led Rams receivers with 5 catches for 6 yards. Rookie Tavon Austin had 3 receptions for 26 yards.

After a breakout game in Denver, rookie linebacker Alec Ogletree had 2 tackles for the Rams. The Rams end the preseason at 1-3.
