(KMOV) – Police are searching for a woman they say cut a woman in the face after keying her car in south St. Louis on Wednesday.

A 26-year-old woman told police she was inside her home in the 4600 block of Alaska around 2:20 p.m. when she saw the 18-year-old suspect scratch her parked car with a key.

Police say the victim approached the teen, who punched the older woman in the face. The suspect then grabbed a pocket knife and cut the victim in the face.

The teen fled the scene and remains at large. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The investigation is ongoing.
