SULLIVAN, Mo. (KMOV) -- A man sought by police after allegedly firing a gun at his wife multiple times was arrested at a motel shortly after the incident.
Police said Tracy Johnson, 58, fired a .22 caliber pistol at his wife during an argument around 8:30 Sunday night at a home in the 8000 block of Red Oak Road, a rural area of Franklin County, Missouri.
After the argument, Johnson reportedly fled the home, but was apprehended a short-time later by officers with the Sullivan Police Department at the Family Motor Inn on North Outer Road, the Sullivan Journal reported.
The woman was not struck by a bullet.
Johnson is facing an assault charge.
