(KMOV) -- A St. Louis man was charged by police after allegedly stealing and using an Arkansas woman’s Social Security number in order to obtain employment at multiple places in the St. Louis area.
Police say Oscar Angeles-Samano, 21, was pulled over by a Maryland Heights police officer for traffic violations. Angeles-Samano admitted to the officer he did not have a driver’s license, a valid Social Security number, and was in the country illegally.
According to officials, after searching the vehicle, police found a Social Security card in Angeles-Samano’s name, but the number on the card was issued to a woman in Arkansas.
Angeles-Samano was charged with forgery, a class C felony.
