(KMOV) – Police have identified a man who was killed in a two-vehicle accident in north St. Louis city Wednesday morning.
Police said 22-year-old Michael Kelly was driving west on Cass near 20th St. shortly after 1 a.m. when he swerved into the right lane and struck another vehicle headed in the same direction.
Kelly’s vehicle then hit a light pole and a fire hydrant before coming to a stop. Kelly was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers say two people – a 29-year-old man and 37-year-old woman, were in the second vehicle. They were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
