(KMOV.com) -- Parents are hoping to get answers Wednesday night about why superintendent Dr. Art McCoy was placed on paid administrative leave.
The Ferguson-Florrisant school board is holding its first meeting since placing Dr. McCoy on leave last week.
Board members have not given an exact response as to why the superintendent was placed on leave. There is speculation that it was a racially motivated decision.
Board President Paul Morris denies these claims stating the boards concerns with how Dr. McCoy handled their directives warranted placing him on leave.
The 7 p.m. meeting is expected to have a big turnout and has been moved the McCluer North High School gymnasium to accommodate everyone.
News 4 will be at the meeting and will keep you updated on what happens.
