Washington Park officer under scrutiny for excessively using Taser gun

 (KMOV) – A Metro-East police officer is facing several accusations of being too excessive with his Taser gun while arresting women in Washington Park. 

A second woman has come forward to say Washington Park part-time police officer Antwan Stith used excessive force by tazing her while she was in handcuffs and posed no threat.

Gilda Lott was tased after allegedly kicking an officer as they attempted to arrest her after fighting with her boyfriend. 

She claims she did everything the officer told her to do and did not consider herself to be a threat to anyone. 

After two accusations of excessive force by the same Washington Park officer, News 4’s Russell Kinsaul went to the police chief.
