(KMOV) -- News 4 is getting results for a public housing resident who could not find a safe place to park her car and even risked being evicted.
Donna Lofton lives at the Gardens at the Renaissance Place public housing complex in north St. Louis. She did not feel safe parking her car in the residents' lot because an increasing number of cars have been broken into there.
She parked her car in the visitors' lot where it was well lit compared to the lot used by residents, which did not have any working lights.
The St. Louis Housing Authority told her that due to budget cuts, they could not do anything about the issue.
But just one day after News 4's report, new lights are being put up.
