(KMOV) – A total of five people, including a baby, were injured after the car they were in rolled over in East St. Louis.

The accident happened near the I-64/I-70 split in Illinois late Tuesday night. According to state troopers, the driver lost control of the vehicle after a tire blew. The car ended up on its roof and sustained extensive damage.

Officials say a baby who was a passenger in the vehicle was not properly restrained in a car seat.

Two eastbound lanes and one westbound lane of I-64 were closed while crews worked to clear the scene.
