ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- MoDOT officials say road work will close two lanes of Interstate 70 in St. Charles County next week.
According to MoDOT, the two westbound lanes will be closed from the Blanchette Bridge to the Fifth Street exit. The closures are set to begin next Thursday night at 10 p.m., but lanes should reopen Friday morning at 5.
MoDOT officials say crews need to remove supports for an overhead sign on the interstate.
The work is being done in preparation for the closure of the Blanchette Bridge in November.
