CENTREVILLE, Ill. (KMOV.com) – A home in Centreville was considered a total loss after a fire broke out Friday morning.
Fire crews got the call respond to the 4500 block of 39th Street to battle the blaze around 2 a.m.
When crews arrived, they were met with intense flames that had fully engulfed the home. By the time fire crews doused the flames, the home was gutted and nearly leveled.
According to reports, the home was vacant. No firefighters were injured while fighting the fire.
Fire officials have not yet determined the cause.
