(KMOV) – Authorities rescued a worker who got stuck at cement plant in Valley Park on Thursday.

Officials said the victim was welding in a gravel bin at the Valley Material Company in the 200 block of Marshall Rd. around 3:45 p.m. when he suffered some sort of a medical emergency.

Crews responded to the scene and eventually rescued the man.

The victim was transported to the hospital in unknown condition. Authorities said he was conscious.
