(KMOV) – A 39-year-old north St. Louis County man is accused of recruiting three teenagers and forcing them to have sex for money over a three-day period in April.
Anton Morris was charged on Monday with two counts of sexual trafficking of a child and sexual exploitation.
According to prosecutors, on April 15 Morris met a 16-year-old girl online and lured her into prostitution.
Police said he then advertised sex with the girl through various social media outlets.
Authorities said 10 days later he talked the teen into recruiting a 19-year-old girl into prostitution. Police said the next day Morris convinced the 19-year-old to recruit a 17-year-old into joining them.
Police said Morris took them to a St. Louis County motel and, after three days of performing sex acts for money, he brought the girls to his home in the 11600 block of Fox Hall.
When Morris later fell asleep, authorities said the 17-year-old and 19-year-old escaped through a bedroom window and called police.
Authorities responded to the 6500 block of Dallavis and found the two girls, who said they had been held by Morris against their will.
Police said officers went to Morris’ home and arrested him. They also found the 16-year-old, who had still been in his house.
Morris is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
