ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com)  -  Crews Sunday night re-opened a section of Interstate 64 that was closed over the weekend. The highway was initially scheduled to re-open on Monday morning.

Missouri Department of Transportation officials say drivers can use three lanes in both directions in the section between Vandeventer and Kingshighway. Those lanes are narrowed and shifted toward the center of the interstate.

MoDOT says the outside, right lane just east of Hampton will be an exit-only lane for Kingshighway.

No issues were reported with the narrowed lanes during Monday morning rush hour traffic.
