Fugitive accused of stealing from Kohl's, threatening employee

(KMOV.com) – Police said a wanted man faces charges after he allegedly threatened a Collinsville Kohl’s employee with a knife on Wednesday.

John Cullen was charged with with one count of burglary, one count of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, one count of aggravated battery. He's also charged with being a fugitive from justice.

Authorities said Cullen attempted to steal something from the Kohl’s located on Beltline. He then threatened a Kohl’s loss prevention employee with a knife and then bit the employee during a struggle that ensued.

Police eventually took Cullen into custody and later learned he was wanted for violating his parole in Missouri and on a DUI charge in Madison County.
