(KMOV.com) – A Franklin County woman said she came home and spotted thieves in her driveway stealing her jewelry box.

The victim, who did not want to be identified, said she spotted two men in her driveway on Roller Road that she did not recognize.

“They said they were looking for someone and I didn’t recognize the name, so I said ‘I’ve never heard of those people,” she said.

The victim said she then spotted what the pair had tucked away in their car.

“I glance and I see my large jewelry box in the backseat,” she said. “I thought ‘Oh my gosh they robbed me.’ I didn’t confront them because you don’t know if someone’s got a weapon in the car what they would do.”

She said she then called police. Authorities told News 4 they later caught the two men, Myron Beddow, 40, and Robert Wallace, 19.

“I’ve never been afraid out here. It’s very quiet and to think that someone that does not even live around here ended up in my house, rummaging through my things. It’s very frightening,” she said.

Beddow and Wallace are sitting in the Franklin County Jail and may face charges soon.
