(KMOV) – A former mayor of Kinloch was indicted on federal charges on Wednesday.

Keith Conway former of Kinloch was arrested and accused of falsifying employment records.

In May, Conway was living in a halfway house as part of a November 2011 sentence for allegedly using Kinloch City funds to pay for personal expenses.

He was supposed to have a full time job which would allow him to leave the facility but records show he lied about his employment.

Conway could face five years for each count and up to $250,000 in fines.
