(KMOV) – A federal group offers assistance to several Metro East police departments in an effort to beef up police presence.
The Metro East Police District Commission wants to reestablish policy for East St. Louis, Alorton, Brooklyn, and Washington Park departments. The Commission will use federal tools to determine what resources are available, how to best use them and where to find more money.
News 4’s Sharon Reed sat down with these departments and learned how this group could help fight crime in the metro.
