A father-son team from California built a 180-foot roller coaster in the family’s backyard.
The coaster is made mostly of PVC pipe and pretty much propelled by gravity.
“I started building the coaster because Lyle, my son, asked me if we could and I couldn’t think of a good reason to say no,” said Will Pemble.
What started as a physics lesson clearly grew into a much bigger project. It took the team about six weeks to build and cost $3,500.
