(KMOV.com) – Police said an endangered girl may be travelling into the St. Louis area Thursday.

Police said Eboni Kyashiah Coney-King, 9, of Jefferson City was reported missing just after 4:00 p.m. Thursday.

According to police, Coney-King was picked from school by her aunt Na’Dya Curtis and her mother Britney Coney Thursday afternoon. Police said security footage shows Corey-King began to struggle when she saw her mother.

Police said there was a child protection order against Coney that has since been dismissed. The child is currently under her father’s custody.

Police describe Eboni as a black female who is five feet tall, weighing 75 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and a medium complexion. Authorities said she was last seen wearing a blue coat over a rainbow striped shirt, pink jeans, and black shoes. She was also carrying a blue backpack.

Police said they are traveling in a black Ford Fusion with an Illiniois license bearing the number R578957. Police believe they could be traveling to Na’Dya's home in Texas or Coney's home in St. Louis.
