(KMOV) – After her father was beaten and left for dead in the streets of Kinloch, his daughter talked to News 4 claiming police are not doing enough.

The woman said when her mother went to the Kinloch Police Department to report the brutal beating and carjacking police laughed about it.

The man is reportedly in critical condition and there is a possibility he could never walk again.

Stanley Green, 54, was robbed and carjacked on Monday night in Kinloch. His daughter, Averyon Green said her father met a man at a nearby convenience story and gave him a ride home. He quickly realized he had been set up.

She said five men viciously kicked and punched her dad, took his car and wallet and left him for dead.

“My dad could have lost his life from this, my dad could still lose his life from this because my dad is in critical condition,” Green said.

Green claimed Kinloch Police are doing nothing to find the suspects. Kinloch Police Chief Adrian Roberts was not at the station when a News 4 crew arrived but an officer said Chief Roberts wouldn’t comment on the open investigation.

A response which is not sitting well with the Green family who still want results; “the words can't even explain how angry I am and how hurt I am.”

News 4 will update this story as more information becomes available.
