(KMOV.com) – A 17-year-old from Minnesota who's dying from cancer is going viral on YouTube with his song.

The song is called “Clouds” and it caught the attention of recording giant BMI who signed the teen to a contract.

Zach Sobiech has osteosarcoma, a form of cancer. He recently found out his tumor tripled in size and he only has months to live.

Zach has an upcoming concert where he plans to sing his song along with a couple others he wrote. He says his songs are a way of saying goodbye to friends and family.

Since he’s gotten exposure, he says people around the world have been talking to him about his song.

“They tell me that, you know, I was an inspiration to them that they could keep fighting, they could keep going. That is - that’s honestly unbelievable for me,” Zach said.

Sobiech’s song already has millions of hits on YouTube and is now available on iTunes.
