(KMOV.com) – Graffiti artists from around the country gathered Monday in St. Louis to paint the flood wall for an event known as Paint Louis.
Artists gathered at the wall near where Lenor K Sullivan, Chateau, and Wharf Drive meet. Organizers told News 4 they hope Paint Louis becomes an annual destination for the best artists in the country.
Paint Louis was originally held from 1995 to 2001, but the event was shut down after artists painted in unsanctioned areas. The event was restarted in 2013.
