According to police, the suspect walked into a business, and announced the robbery. He then shot a victim numerous times and fled on foot.

Several armed law enforcement officers from six area agencies were searching for a suspect in the Metro-East on.

Police armed with guns were using the help of a K-9 unit to search for the suspect on Highway 157 near Caseyville around 12:30 p.m., blocking traffic a half mile north of St. Louis.

They then surrounded the Caseyville Laundromat and about eight officers enter the building with their guns drawn.
