(KMOV) -- Several schools call off class Thursday after a severe storm leaves a path of destruction Wednesday night.

Shenandoah Valley Elementary School in the Parkway School District has canceled class after the intense storm tore the roof off the building.

All Hazelwood Schools are called off due to area power outages. There were also reports of trees and debris blocking bus routes in the district.

Vianney High School will not be in session Thursday for unforeseen issues related to the school's electricity.

Cross Keys Middle School and Wedgwood Elementary School in the Ferguson-Florissant School District are closed because of a power outage.

We will update this list as more closings roll into the newsroom.
