(KMOV) -- Applebee’s announced plans to add tablet computers to every table at restaurants nationwide.

Customers reportedly will be able to use the tablets to order appetizers and desserts, pay for their meals and to even play video games while they wait.

A waiter will still need to be there to assist in ordering the customers’ main dish.

Chili’s Restaurants are already working to put tablets on their tables along with IHop doing the same thing.
