ST. LOUS (KMOV.com) – Two flight attendants have been treated and released after emergency vehicles responded to an emergency at Lambert International Airport Tuesday night.
According to officials, U.S. Airways flight 1667 was flying in to St. Louis from Charlotte, North Carolina. About 70 miles north of Nashville, the plane experienced significant turbulance.
While passengers were seated at the time, the flight attendants were not. Upon landing, ambulances met the plane on the runway, and those injured were offloaded. U.S. Airways reported two flight attendants were injured, treated at the scene and did not go to the hospital
According to U.S. Airways, the plane- and Airbus 319- will get a routine check to determine if there was any damage.
