HAZELWOOD, Mo. (KMOV) -- Internal Revenue Service agents raided a trucking business and spent hours gathering company records without saying much about the operation in Hazelwood on Wednesday.

The federal investigation is focused on Krupp Trucking located north of Lambert International Airport.

The agents, along with Hazelwood police officers, spent more than eight hours hauling documents out of the business starting at 8 a.m.  The arrival of the agents shut down the business for the day and truckers were told they could leave their trailer but could not haul anything away or enter the business.  The seized documents were enough to fill the back of a van.

Workers at a neighboring trucking company are concerned about the items that they have stored inside Krupp Trucking's warehouse.  The company was assured it will have access to the products in the warehouse tomorrow.

News 4 checked the safety records of Krupp Trucking and found that it has had no accidents in the last two years.  It is the accounting records that IRS agents are confiscating from the company.
