(KMOV.com) – Johnathan Perkins pleaded guilty to several charges in connection with the murder of a Saint Louis University volleyball player Friday.
Perkins and Keith V. Estes, of Bel Ridge, attempted to rob, and then killed former SLU volleyball play Megan Boken in August, 2012. The incident occurred near the intersection of N. Taylor and Maryland Avenue. Boken was in town for a SLU alumni volleyball game.
Esters pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, two counts of attempted robbery and armed criminal action in November, 2012. He received one life sentence and 20 years in prison.
Perkins will serve 20 years in prison.
