(KMOV) – Two teens were arrested Thursday for throwing a Molotov cocktail at a Lincoln County elementary school.

Investigators say Jacob Shinstock, 19, and Ryan Colbert, 17,  were charged with arson after they threw the bomb at the Boone Lincoln Elementary School Saturday.

The flames damaged the school’s side door.

These teens have been in trouble before and in this case, police are determined to keep them in jail as long as they can.

The teens didn’t stop at the school, a black mark on the concrete shows where they allegedly threw one into the street, severely injuring a dog.

Police tell News 4’s Lindsay Bramson, Shinstock is no stranger to the law. He had a warrant out for his arrest when this incident took place.

Both were charged as adults and Shinstock is still in jail with a $50,000 cash-only bond.
