(KMOV) – Two gas stations were robbed at knifepoint in a three day period in Washington, Missouri.

Police say thieves struck the FasTrip Station on Tuesday and the Fischer Phillips 66 station on Saturday. These stations are located approximately five minutes apart.

In both cases, police say the robbers held the cashier at knifepoint.

Authorities in Washington say a robbery is rare so it’s a shock to have a report of two robberies.

If you have any information about either case, call the Washington Police Department.
