ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com)- The St. Louis Election Commissioners tested voting equipment on Friday to make sure it properly recorded voters' ballots.

The upcoming city elections are on Tuesday, April 2. Officials say the Logic and Accuracy Test will insure the voting machines will work. The Deputy Democratic Director of the St. Louis Board of Elections says the public was invited to see the tests.

"We allow a certain percentage of that, a smaller amount, so that the public can come and see how we test the machines and make sure we record the votes accurately.," Ken Franklin said.

Commissioners say all machines will be tested before voters cast their ballots and that they will be ready if there are any problems on election day.
