(KMOV) – Clients of a St. Charles County talent agent want their money back and are threatening to press charges on the grounds of not getting what they paid for.
The agent, Carey Wolf, tells clients she has connections in Hollywood, but clients say getting involved with Wolf was a big mistake.
Jane Thomas says she took her children to a St. Charles hotel in January and paid Wolf nearly $1,800 to get them signed up for a casting call that was supposed to put her kids in front of big-time talent agents in Las Vegas.
Others were not so lucky.
Two weeks ago, Ranessa Drainer said she signed up with Wold to attend the same event. She paid Wolf in January and Wolf promised a refund by April 24, but that never happened.
Several attempts to reach Wolf for comment via phone, email and a home visit to her mother’s house were unsuccessful.
