(KMOV) -- On Thursday, the Kirkwood school district will give 700 doses of the H1N1 vaccine shot and 300 doses of the nasal flumists.

The vaccines will only be given out to students in the Kirkwood district and parents had to sign consent forms.

District officials are asking parents to arrive no earlier than 4:30 p.m. The doors to the south gym will open at 5:00 p.m.

If you don't qualify for the vaccine in Kirkwood you may be able to get the vaccine this weekend.

The St. Louis County Health Department announced that it will give out 10,000 free H1N1 vaccines on Saturday for county residents who are "most at-risk.”

In Illinois, the Eastside Health District in East St. Louis will be giving out free H1N1 vaccines for people who qualify on Thursday.

The vaccines will be given out starting at 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

The requirements to get the vaccine are very similar to those in St. Louis County, but they are asking pregnant women to speak with their doctor before coming in to get the vaccine.

On Thursday afternoon, you will have a chance to get the vaccine at East Alton Middle School from 3:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

At this location, the Madison County Health Department is only giving out the nasal mist, not the shot. So you must be healthy, not pregnant, a health provider, a caregiver for infants, or between the ages of 2-24 to get the vaccine at East Alton Middle School.
