Express Scripts expanding in St. Louis Co.

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The pharmacy benefits manager Express Scripts will build a prescription fulfillment center in St. Louis County, creating 270 jobs.

Plans for the $60 million expansion were announced Thursday. The project will take place in the NorthPark development across Interstate 70 from Express Scripts' corporate headquarters.

The new center will feature automation for the dispensing, packaging and shipment of 110,000 prescriptions per day. Construction is expected to conclude by April.
