(KMOV)-- A disturbing report this morning about your drinking water.

An environmental group is getting ready to release a report about 'hexavalent chromium' in drinking water.

If that chemical sounds familiar it's the one made famous by the movie 'Erin Brockovich.'

The list of cities will come out later this morning. 'Hexavalent Chromium' is a carcinogen. The 'Environmental Protection Agency' is trying to decide whether to set a limit for it in tap water.

We'll be sure to post the information on KMOV.com as soon as it's released.
