St. Louis (KMOV)- Doctors say cholesterol-lowering drugs might fight the H1N1 flu in the future.
New research shows that patients who were on such drugs when they caught the seasonal flu were twice as likely to survive.
Doctors say there's not proof that the statins are a cure, but they want more research to see if the drugs will help.
