ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV) -- Two St. Charles County clinics are moving to larger locations because there’s an increasing demand for free health care.
The Volunteers In Medicine clinics are in Lake St. Louis and St. Charles.
Each year, both clinics see thousands of patients.
“Now the volume and what we need to do just requires a larger space and more privacy for our patients,” said nurse Cheryl Moellenhoff, the clinical coordinator. “So in September we’ll move up the road a little bit to a true medical office.”
Each clinic hopes to extend hours and stay open more days in the new locations, but that depends on funding and volunteers.
