Unroasted coffee beans may be the key to weight loss.

Researchers say that a small group of overweight people lost about 10 percent of their body weight after eating less than an ounce of ground, green coffee beans every day for 22 weeks.

Study participants combined the coffee with a low-fat diet and exercise.

Experts suspect a substance found in unroasted coffee beans, known as chlorogenic acid, may be behind the fat burn.
